Caribou is a short, stout and good swimmer in the Arctic. Some biologists divide caribou into two kinds: one is northern caribou, which lives in the northern permafrost and coniferous forest; the other is forest caribou, which lives in the forests of Canada. The number of wild caribou is decreasing year by year and is in an endangered state. Always in groups, moving every summer and winter.
Human beings have been domesticating reindeer for a long time. In addition to riding and pulling sleds, their meat, milk, skin and horns are all necessities for people. Due to the above reasons, the number of wild caribou is decreasing year by year and is in an endangered state.
