Joshua trees can be developed from seeds and underground stems. They grow slowly. In the first few years, they can grow to 10-20 cm, and then increase by 10 cm every year. The stem of the Joshua tree is made up of a large number of small fibers without rings. Because of its small root system and relatively heavy crown, it is not very stable, but it can live for 200 years in the harsh desert environment. Up to about 15 meters. Leaf blade dark green, linear with spiny margin.
