The skeleton is a hard organ that makes up the vertebrate’s internal skeleton. Its function is to exercise, support and protect the body; to produce red blood cells and white blood cells; to store minerals. Bones are made up of various shapes and have complex internal and external structures, which make the bones hard while reducing weight.
One of the components of bone is the mineralized bone tissue, which has a solid honeycomb structure inside. The skeleton of human body plays the role of supporting the body, which is a part of human motion system. Bones are usually connected by joints and ligaments.
