Pothos is a leafy plant, also known as golden epiphyte. It is considered cold resistant and can survive at very low temperatures. This may be why it is used as a very common indoor plant, but it can also be successfully planted outdoors.
The Pothos plant grows upward and produces long hanging vines. When planted outdoors, these vines can be attached to trees at home or nearby. From early summer to Midsummer, the Pothos sometimes blooms. The flowers are white to off white. This plant does not produce seeds, but you can take out the cuttings and put them in water. Most cut plants need root growth hormone, but Pothos doesn't.
